On Wednesday, the Netherlands won their eighth and final 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying match, giving “Oranje” a perfect campaign, only the fifth by a European team involved in qualification for a major championship.
According to Infostrada Sports, only three countries, West Germany, France (twice) and Czech Republic achieved the feat before Holland.
By the time Holland had completed their September 9 match, Spain and England are also still in contention to card a perfect qualifying campaign.
