On Saturday, 8 August, Felix Magath will make his Bundesliga debut as Schalke 04 head coach. Magath is trying to become the first coach to win the German league title with three different clubs. No Bundesliga club has parted ways with their head coach prematurely more often than Schalke 04 (22).
According to Infostrada, Magath has now been head coach of seven different Bundesliga clubs (Hamburger SV, Werder Bremen, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart, Bayern München, VfL Wolfsburg and Schalke 04). Only Jörg Berger has coached more Bundesliga clubs (8).
